A Focus on Child Development

Our Educational Mission

For our children who are over two years of age, we encourage non-competitive, social building skills. At this wondrous age, important lessons are taught that will carry children into the classroom. The children are inspired to listen, follow instructions and complete tasks. We also instruct the children on proper social manners such as respecting their caregiver’s as well as their friends.

Skills that were begun in our infant childcare program are being built upon to form stronger skills. We concentrate more on numbers, letters, colors and shapes. Child development in these ares is best achieved by our children's computer time, crafts, coloring, blocks and song singing time.

The children also enjoy outdoor exploration time. What child can resist the squirrels and birds cheering them on, as they run, swing and squeal under an oak tree, shaded from the sun?

For our children in child care placement who are under the age of two, we have circle time buddy sharing. The little ones enjoy interactive toys, story time and dancing. The room is filled with giggles at the end of singing Ring-Around-The-Rosy and they all fall down. Let us not forget their basic introduction into colors, numbers, alphabets and animals through songs.

Outdoor play time sends them in search of balls, dump trucks and scooters. Now they are ready for a drink and a nap.

Our littlest ones enjoy learning to grasp plush toys and books, being rocked to music and foot clapping. They love to feel the outdoor breeze on their eyelashes.

Our whole day is spent making sure your children are having fun learning until their favorite people in the whole world return with big hugs and kisses.
